| Ebay Text 2 | SYMPTOMS OF FAULT Water leaking through the top of the tailgate, damp boot carpet, puddles of water in the boot. Wet carpets. THE FAULT   It is a very common fault for leaks to occur on these vehicles, with water entering and pooling in the boot. The foam gasket that the third brake light & tail lights comes attached to from factory disintegrates over time due to its poor structure. This allows water to enter through the gasket and into the boot, causing puddles of water on the boot floor. THE SOLUTION
We have designed & manufactured new & improved seals to cover all tail lights on these vehicles, to prevent any further leaks from occuring. Our improved tail light and brake light seals are UK designed and made. Precision cut to fit mating faces, stopping water, moisture & condensation entering the light unit and vehicle itself. UV resistant material. Our seals have a strong adhesive backing so it maintains location when being fitted, beware of items without this. This fix requires minimal tools and is easy to fit. We include an improved size and material (Viton Oring) to replace the original on the washer jet part of the light as this commonly fails and causes leaks. We also provide RTV gasket sealant with this kit to aid the sealing of the O-ring and to create a seal on the screw threads at this is another common area to leak.
