Unfortunately, it is becoming more & more common for vehicles to be broken into, especially vans since they often carry expensive tools and machinery. Thieves will often drill into doors to access OEM locks to open them from the inside, leaving the owner with a damaged vehicle and no tools, thus an expensive bill. THE SOLUTION
Our dummy lock is made from the same parts as a genuine lock mechanism giving it a totally authentic look from the front. We utilise the same original Black plastic surround as complete lock mechanisms. We use real rivets, riveted in place with a rivet gun to look totally authentic. The main lock section is a machined down Euro lock, all this adds up to the lock looking totally authentic.
Utilising genuine 3M branded Very High Bond (VHB) automotivegrade weather proof sticky tape our dummy lock can be stuck on to your vehicle in minutes. No drilling, no tools required, just stick in place. Our item comes complete with 100% alcohol wipes to clean the surface prior to fitting.
From the front our dummy locks look just like a lock kit that would cost £200-300.
