Diagnose head gasket failure using the cost-effective and easy-to-use X8R kit This is our professional-grade, heavy duty CO2 leak detector testing kit - heavy-duty tool and comes with 500ml fluid, enough for up to 100 tests. Ideal for garages, workshops and mobile mechanics. Our kit comes with a unique design rubber bung which provides an air lock to the tool. The bung is universal and is designed to fit virtually all coolant reservoirs.* The tool works by providing an air tight seal to the top of the coolant reservoir and drawing the air through the tool and liquid in the chamber. The liquid will change colour if it detects carbon monoxide in the air, which is a symptom of head gasket failure. We use two different coloured fluids in our kits: pink for diesels and blue for petrols. We use two colours opposed to one to give the most accurate and effective results.
